Who thinks the Rezound will get ICS Friday?

Im thinking its not going to happen. We usually see leaked PDFs and such on the update before it its out. Also the Razr as of 11 EST still does not have it.

If it happens it happens, if not meh...

People tend to forget the rumor mills of the past. No leaked info. from a Best Buy source, be it photo, document or employee, they never pan out as fact in the first report.

Well the Razr appears to have gotten no ICS love today. Not looking good for the Rezound Friday. Keeping the hope alive, but reality is starting to sink in

Does everyone think that means the rumor was completely bogus and the rezound won't see it either? The razr forums are a hoopla of lies and misinformation, but it seems that moto might have started a soak test today.

Also, it seems that the razr leak has significant problems which may put them behind. I don't have the leak for the rezound, but it seems to be more or less major bug free from what I read. Do you think we might actually get it on Friday? The big problem is still no word from anyone that matters.

It's still a big "Probably not". Again, I think the dates we saw were based on old announcements stating that we'd get ICS Q1

I am running the leaked version of ICS on the rezound, and, I am hoping the official version addresses the battery draining issue, that some of the early adopters have seen. If it is not addressed, there will be plenty of unhappy rezound owners.

I did a soak for the x,x2 and the bionic. But i didn't sign up this time, I got the Maxx a couple weeks ago. I don't even mess around in moto's forums any more. Everything is so negative over there. And I thought the feed back on the soaks were always ignored. I never ever got a response on my feedback, questions or complaints on it.

I did however talk to Vzw level 2 tech support today about my daughters Rezound bootlooping after her trip to Jamaica and asked him about the updates to the Razr and Rezound. He spent 10 minutes researching both phones and came back with no information on any immanent updates to either.

not intentionally, but, I probably have (after reading the description of bump charging).

The battery drain issue (according some posts on xda) appear to be the result of the cpu running full throttle all the time. Battery life is better, running cdma only. Battery behaviour, seems to all over the board, at times, it seems better, and, at other times, seems to drain much quicker.

ICS is great, except for the battery drain issue.

I would not mind waiting for ICS 4.0.4, as, it sounds to be a real improvement over 4.0.3.
