Sorry, it was pretty tasty, though.

It actually just struck me. Verizon hasn't ever started an OTA on a Friday. I don't think they ever will. It would just be too horrible for business trying to support an OTA over a weekend.
and 2) an OTA over the weekend, when most of us aren't working, would actually be the BEST thing.
Bliss Dairy Cake Batter ice cream. Sorry, but if you're not in New England chances are you don't know how epic that is.
Figure this thread should be turned into something useful, as the Rezound is assuredly not going to see an OTA ICS update today. Sorry folks. The good news though, it's pretty easy to root and install Scrosler's ICS ROMs, which are based on leaks.
What about the Verizon Wireless employees who are off this weekend? Perhaps Verizon figured this weekend wasn't best after all. :'(

This is one of the reasons why the Apple sheep stay loyal. Everything is much more organized at Apple. They announced the IOS5 update well in advance, and sure enough come that day, there was a fresh OS waiting to be updated.

When a phone carrier officially announces an OS update, the update is usually on time.
I just wish there was some level of transparency on the update especially on HTC's part. Let us know what's going on for better or for worse. Let us know when they give it to Verizon so that we know how long they really delay the process. I would be much less impatient and much more forgiving if I knew what was going on and not left in the dark.
