Welcome yeah definitely try it hands on might give you different impressions from photos, you will camera quality and zoom and probably little bit battery life going to the fold but the inner screen is a beauty
How often do you find yourself opening it up vs. just using it closed?

(I edited my response to add that. You probably didn't see that added line. It's really late, I was hoping you'd be sleeping and not see the first version. )

Lol yeah it's late by me also just coming in from vacation, so haven't adjusted yet

I say I use the inner display more that's my Media and work consumption, outer just for quick replies or things I won't stay long with

I agree with this. The front screen is intended for quick stuff such as replying to messages, taking pictures, even scrolling thru Facebook and other things. Yes the front screen will take some getting used to, but it's easy to get used to it. The fold 6 screen size this year is near perfect, making one handed usage a breeze while on the go it just quick scrolling. I use the front screen for everything I use the inside screen for, but when I have good phone time I open the phone up and enjoy the big screen.

For me I probably use the outside screen 40% and inside screen the remainder.

Coming from z fold 3, I feel that the Z Fold 6 cover screen is much better. I'm using cover screen for most of the quick things, even browse briefly. Looks like the perfect aspect ratio for one-handed use and also being a tablet when needed.

I was wondering about how easy it was to use one-handed. Open or closed or both?

I find using a Fold open is best in bed where I can prop it on a pillow and watch whatever and actually not worry about dropping it on anything hard rarely ever use it close unless I'm just checking a text or Webull.

It's all about the screen real estate. Bigger is better IMHO.
😁
Yeah I'm using the inner screen pretty much 90 percent of the time that's what I got it for .

Well that's just it ....... when I'm on the go so to speak like running around doing errands and whatnot, it's gotten old for me to have to open my phone.

3 plus years with the first being with a Samsung Fold and now the Pixel of unfolding has lost its ummmm luster I guess but that's just me.

I'll wait for the next Samsung Ultra or Note whatnot where I'll just be able to whip it out of my back pocket and use it as it is! Can't wait!

Oh I've had the first Samsung Folds from the get to and that wow factor has slowly but surely worn off. Don't get me wrong I still love my Pixel Fold now and I'm sorry for derailing yet another thread especially a " Fold " one with my rant

Okay, okay let me just keep my mouth shut for now haaaa!! My bad.

P9PXL is also an excellent choice if you don't go S25

I see that point. I was always a huge fan of big screens, which is the reason I am intrigued. But for me there are two limits: has to still be mobile, in other words fit in my pants pocket; I have to be able to hold it with one hand.

So that means from what I gather in this thread, that I will be using it closed a lot of the time and actually getting a smaller screen than what I have now on the 23 ultra for a lot of usage.

I do have a separate 7+ tablet that has a huge screen. When I want to watch videos and read newspapers I switch to that. Watching movies on the phone is quite possible, but not choice number one. When traveling, I bring both. When knocking around town, well, I'm not watching movies in any event.

Yes, it would be nice to combine the two functions and that is the big appeal here, but I really need to find a way to play with it a little.

I think to properly enjoy any " Fold " whether it be Samsung, Google or whatever ....... you gotta use it when the ummm spread open so to speak !!!

You cannot go wrong with the " real estate " when watching YouTube, Netflix or whatever but you'll need be comfortable having it open while enjoying. As I and someone else said while on the go, it's gotta be the close. Only way to use it on the go.

Using a tablet is good if you don't mind lugging it around. Having a Fold may allow you not to lug around said tablet anymore. I, myself already have space issues with my cell and whatnot in my purse. Last thing I'll have is a tablet, a 7 inch one no less in my purse haaaaa

It's been awesome so far for me and it's battery is on par with the best phones out. I think you won't go wrong either way. And S25 will be a beast I'm sure too
