who's leaving android to iPhone 6 or 6+

I do the same thing. Loaded 4.4.4 on my nexus 7, wasn't wowed. In fact it only reminded me just how much I dislike android. It wouldn't restart, usually the tablet just restarts apps or itself of its own accord. Also, firefox continually crashed. I read up on the Android devices now and again, and most importantly look at the issues people have on the forums. I'll be sticking to the iPhone for now until Android starts making a reliable, cohesive whole(in my opinion). Technology for technology sake is not the proper stance in my opinion. When you stop having to turn off those great technologies that andoid people make fun of Apple people for not having to make the device reliable and actually usable, then I'll reconsider. As was stated, different strokes :)

Well I thought to move but I always prefer to have Android phones as I am free to make whatever I want and I will not leave my Galaxy S5 for any other phone. I love Android phones specially apps and ability to share files with each other.

iPhone 6 may have many good features but still not impressed by those features.

Wouldn't they use icloud for music? Thought that came out after Amazon and Google brought out theirs (just weeks apart, I think).

Yeah, I don't know. Doesn't that use data? I know that I limit streaming things because I'm still on the 2GB plan. Not sure about them. But I know at least one of them has approximately one gazillion pics/vids of her kid on her current phone. ;)

If uses space on the device too. Which is silly as it defeats the whole purpose of streaming. Also on ios there is no way to clear your cache manually. When you stream something like music or a movie from the cloud it goes into a space called other and this will eventually take up more and more space if you stream a lot from the cloud. They only way to clear the space is to do a factory reset.

Also on my ios devices I've never been able to successfully stream HD movie/video content from the cloud. It streams for about 30 seconds and then buffers. It's not my connection as I can stream the same stuff on my Apple TV and from various other sites in HD. I've never had this problem with Google play movies or Tv shows. Also with icloud you actually have to have the space available inv your device, i.e to stream a movie you need to have the space free otherwise it won't stream. Which again defeats the purpose of cloud storage!

So they probably want 128GB because the cloud is rubbish and its better to have the stuff actually stored on the device.

Why should I leave Galaxy for "new" features that Samsung has had all along? I'll wait for Apple to stop playing catch-up with Samsung, then see if they can come up with something that's actually innovative.

*Apple users receive the best apps first while Android users have to wait until there is an Android version.
*When new software is available for Apple, their users are notified immediately.
*Apple users can pop into the Apple store at any time and receive free tech support.
*“Android is fragmented and most phones are running an outdated, modified version.”

Thanks for the list, but these things aren't the reasons why everyone's buzzing over iPhone 6 and 6+. Features that Samsung already has are what the buzz is about.

Nope. S5 and sticking to it. Innovation died with Jobs and the new things Apple finally put on the 6, Android has been doing for years. And c'mon, no upgrade on the camera either? What a joke.

The camera is an upgrade though 😐
Megapixels aren't the only way to measure how good a camera is. In all likelihood, it will probably be in the top 3 smartphone cameras.

Nope! I've tried giving the iPhone a chance and it has failed my expectations, terribly. And the memory factor and not having the ability to customize your phone is a huge disappointment.

Even if I wasn't in love with my m8, and even if ios8 is wonderfully optimized, I would refuse to pay flagship prices for 2011-2012 hardware in a fancy wrapper, just out of principle.

They're making a damn killing selling cheapo hardware and it just seems crazy to me. I mean really? Sub 1800mah battery? 4.7" 720p screen? 1 gig of RAM? That's an entry level device in my book.

The iPhone 6 Plus comes with a new processor, known as the A8. This is a 20-nanometer 64-bit CPU with 2 billion transistors. Early benchmarking using the Geekbench application suggests that the processor is dual core, and has a frequency of 1.4 GHz. It's paired with 2GB RAM. The iPhone 6 Plus is consummately slick and zippy in use

Don't take this to mean that the iPhone 6 Plus will be appreciably slower than is the Galaxy Note 4. iOS is more tightly coded than is Android, and so typically iPhones feel every bit as zippy as Android handsets with nominally superior specs.

The Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 may be fast, but isn’t much of a step up from the Snapdragon 801 of the Galaxy S5, which in turn isn’t all that much better than the Snapdragon 800 of the LG G2, released almost a year ago.

The truth: Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 805 is a chipset clinging onto a system architecture that is already in the grave and having dirt shovelled over its barely-moving limbs.

Man, it has 1gb not two. It will fail when it comes to proper multitasking.

And I give you the A8. It's superior to 2012 stuff. But the CPU alone doesn't justify all the other junk hardware.

And I strongly disagree with your opinion on 801/805 architecture.
