What really annoys me is the uncritical praise of its camera. Daylight pictures are not the best and I've only come across one reviewer who has adressed this and that is Marquees Brownlee, check his video review.

No it is not good for that resolution. I am not talking about brightness. When you see grey/black text on white backgrounds, like Gmail under bright light, you will know what am i saying... I returned it for that matter. Anyways, upto you to believe or not.

"the worst of all the FHD+ screens on the market". Now we know you're just talking rubbish. It maybe only 1080p but it's still really good for that resolution. Plus it's a Samsung panel too

Can confirm that, even though apps like Ring, Nest are not battery optimized under settings, they get killed and you miss notifications.

Gotcha, do you see any issues with the way they do it? Apps dont stay in ram long ?

I remembered users complaining about aggresive killing of background apps.and i would like to say that it isnt true.just turn off battery optimization.

On p30 pro... Did that.. Still missed my security camera alerts. Nest doorbell did not give notifications all the time... On mate 20 pro, i had to remove power genie via adb to make it work.

Wierd, on my Mate 20 Pro everything was good. Except it didnt have a built in widget for lock screen to use with Nova Launcher.

I have mate 20 pro and ram management is very aggressive.. most of time I end up reopening apps .
