Why am I being prompted 'You're already casting another app in Smart View"?

I was using Smart View from inside Samsung Internet to cast to my Samsung TV with no problems for a long while now and have never seen this prompt.. "You're already casting another app with Smart View". I can't figure out what app that might be or how to reset it. Any help would be appreciated, as I've Googled and not found a fix.
 
Does rebooting the phone work? Can you initiate Smart View for other apps/screen mirroring?
 
Rebooting did not work. I usually only see the Smart View function pop up in the browser so I'm not sure how to test it otherwise.
 
On your phone Settings look up SmartView (or long-press the tile in your Quick Access bar) and check, is there anything 'running' there?

Which Samsung device you have?

When it said that what app were you in ?
 
When I long press SmartView from the quick access bar it just searches for devices to connect to, doesn't show that anything is running.
