Why are deleted photos still on my phone when I download to computer.

My phone is always saying apps can't update bcz storage is low. When I go to download my photos, I am seeing photos that I have deleted days ago! Where are they so I can free up space on my phone? I clear the cache sometimes a dozen times a day! LG K7 Droid

Where are you seeing those pictures? If you're using cloud apps like Google Photos you might be looking at pictures in the cloud and not necessarily on your phone.

I am seeing many more photos when I download from my phone than I actually have in my album. I do not use cloud storage. My phone said there were 45 photos, yet there were well over 100 downloaded, including the ones I had deleted since the last time I downloaded.

Connect the phone to a PC and download them all. Then run a file manager app and delete them all and restart. Now the computer shouldn't see any photos on the phone. (The phone might be seeing photos backed up to Google without your knowing. They don't take space on your phone.)
