Why are my headphones only playing in one ear on my phone?

My headphones are acting strange. When I use them to listen to music or watch videos on my phone, audio only plays out of the left ear. But when plugged into other devices, audio plays normally out of both ears. Any help would be appreciated.

Maybe your headphone jack is broken

Sometimes twist them to make better contact in the port .

Are these headphones designed for iPhone? Are your other devices Apple products? Apple uses a proprietary design so that headphones designed for their products won't work properly with products that aren't from Apple.

Could be lint in your jack port. Gently see if you get it out with a toothpick. Could also be a defective port
