Why are my posts in threads on the forum double posting?

Last few days when I've been posting in threads and replying to answers in posts I've made, I've been getting some odd prompts from the site upon hitting "submit"

Like one will say "are you sure you want to leave? Any unsaved changes will be lost"

And then I'll do another one and it will say something about an "Error 503 first byte timeout". But then when I refresh, it shows that my answer/comment did go through, and it actually posted it twice. I've had to go through a lot the last couple days and delete duplicate posts because of this.

I've been getting that on the forum website. Annoying because it takes twice as long to post. When you see that, you can click "Leave site," and your post will still be there.
