Why are none available?

I pre-ordered through Amazon weeks before release and they were immediately back ordered, not to be found anywhere, perhaps even until after Christmas. They have them on display at Best Buy, but none in stock. Anyone know why there is the big back order on them?

Demand is larger than supply can support. They are shipping out as fast as they come in

It's just surprising that there was so much demand that they were sold out the first day and then out of stock for 1-2 months following that.

I ordered mine on black Friday and recieved it three days later. I ordered online from best buy. Shipped through usps. Though they did leave it in the open on my front porch.

Who is your cellular provider? They seem to have an AT&T model available. I assume that is an LTE model.

Its funny I saw them as in stock early in the morning on friday. they do have the lte in stock in certain stores. At this point since theyre the same price not sure what the major difference is.

I placed an order for a Frontier (non LTE) on Amazon back when they first came out. They had the $299 sale price but none in stock and the estimate for when they would actually ship ranged from December through January 20th of next year(!!!). That estimate was current as of this morning, but this afternoon I got a notification from Amazon that my order was shipping and will be here Thursday.

Clearly the stock situation can turn on a dime; just keep checking or just bite the bullet, place an order, and wait like I did.

It looks like inventory is slowly but surely being replenished. I ordered my Frontier from Amazon on 11/25 ($299 deal) and just received an email from Amazon today that it is finally shipping out. Yay!

Called a few Sprint Stores in NYC and found a store that had a few watches in stock. I picked up a Frontier and they gave me a band for $20. Just paid the taxes and was out the door in 15 minutes

The only way I got mine on Black Friday was due to someone ordering one from Best Buy and not picking it up, so they sold it to me.

Damn. This things been out how many months now and no stores have any? Crazy. Can't find any Bluetooth only at any best buys or atts. Everyone only carries the lte version. LAME.

It's cool tho, I'll save money this year lol.

The S3 was launched only 3 weeks ago. I know If feels like ages...

If you really want it, buy it from AT&T for full price $350 and don't activate it on a plan. If you order from their website, all you'll be charged upfront is the cost of the watch.

Thx, I checked them out (ATT) and all they offer is LTE which I don't want (heavier and shorter battery life than Bluetooth version).
