Why are some apps not working on my android Wiko handset?

I have been using WIFI warden which is an android app on my PC [link redacted by Mod] and I have never had a problem with it. Last week I decided that I will opt to use on my android Wiko handset. I downloaded it but it’s not working. Whenever I open it it gives me a ‘WIFI warden app has stopped working’ and thus I can’t use it. Who has had a similar problem with their android device? What did you do? I need help.

Which model handset? Most current devices are on Android 9 which, if you read the app details, is incompatible with the app
