AC Question

I have LG p769 from T-Mobile (rooted) with stock rom, using android 4.1.2. I want to install Cyanogenmod, which doesn't support LG p769 but does support LG p760. I want to try if it works. I backed up app data and system data using titanium backup. After that I tried Rom Manager but it couldn't install cwm because my phone was not supported. I have looked all over the web and couldn't find anything. Can someone please tell me why I can't backup a rom on my phone? Thank you.

Try TWRP manager to install TWRP, then create nandroid backup.

Edit: I suggest flashing a custom ROM created specifically for your phone.

LG Optimus L9 P760, P765, P768, P769 - XDA Forums would be your best source to get help. There doesn't seem to be any difference between the two models, but that's on paper, and your phone isn't paper. And, since I don't have either one (I do have a 798, but that's totally different), I wouldn't try to guess. But the people on XDA who have 769s would know what you can do.
