Why can't I install the Amazon Shopping app on my Xperia Z

Google Play store does not allow me to install the Amazon Shopping app on my Sony Xperia Z saying "This app is incompatible with all of your devices." Any idea what's happening? Does it need a latest phone to install a shopping app? This phone is running on Android Lollipop 5.1.1 and there is lots of free space. Any help would be appreciated.

Okay, I got the solution for this. From Google Play install the Amazon India Shopping app. Run the app once it is installed - do sign in yet. Click on the Skip Sign In button instead. That would open the app with India products and prices. Next, slide out the side bar from the top-left corner (the 3 horizontal lines button). Scroll down the main menu and select the Change Country item and select your country. That will let you browse the products and prices in your country. This is confusing though it works.
