Why can't I make and receive calls on Goophone s6

Hi, I have a new Goophone s6 similar to the Galaxy s6 but I have a major problem with calls. When people phone me the phone rings but when I press on the phone icon to accept the call nothing happens, the end call icon does also not work so consequently the phone just rings until the caller hangs up. If I phone out sometimes it will ring a number and other times nothing happens. As I am unfamiliar with the phone I realise it might be a simple problem to fix. If anyone has the solution I would be most appreciative as I mainly use my phone to make and receive calls. Thank you.

I would try to restart the phone and to clear cache and app data on the phone app. If that doesn't work try a factory data reset
