AC Question

Hi.
I just installed the Whicons theme on Nova launcher and it works fine, but a few apps' icons are missing.
No biggie, I thought - I wanted to change them manually, but where tapping the icon in the edit menu would normally bring me to the 'Select Theme' screen to choose Whicons and look for my icon, now it just displays my wallpaper with the 'Select Theme' toolbar at the top until I press back. I can't press anything in this menu.
Help?

Welcome to Android Central! I don't think Nova Launcher allows you to pick alternate icons. Other launchers may be able to do that.

Oops, I just discovered that I'm completely wrong!:p Sorry about that.

What if you change your icon pack to something else? Can you edit the icon now? Or how about clearing Nova Launcher's app cache?

You can only change the individual icons you have put on your desktop. You can't change them in the app drawer.

The problem seems to be that the list of possible Themes isn't coming up when the OP taps the icon in the Edit Icon window. I would still try clearing Nova's app cache first. You might also try uninstalling Nova, then reinstalling it again (or uninstalling and reinstalling Whicons).

Yeah.. If they are tapping on icons on the desktop, something is wrong. If they are doing that in the app drawer, rjw edit and the list of icons won't pop up.

I wasn't 100% clear if they were saying the edit actually popped up on the individual icon or that normally it does and it didn't.

This one and then it won't respond?

Thanks all. To change an individual app theme I always used icon changer.
I never realized I could select a different theme for an individual app using the edit function.
I see the same posted screen, but can select from any theme listed.
Thanks again..always learn something here.
