Why do received vocal messages on Wechat have a very low volume ?

Hi guys,

It's been two days since my Wechat vocal messages have low volume. I can literally hear a mumble that seems very far away. I checked the settings but there was nothing to change the sound volume. When I send a vocal messages to myself, I can hear the sound like normal. I can also pass calls without any issue.

Can someone please help ?

Does this happen for all messages from all contacts, or only from a certain contact?
