why do the banner notifications disappear when i didnt delete them?

Droid Turbo 2. the calendar reminder pops up and then stays in the banner at the top for an hour. Then it just disappears off the screen by it self! I need it to stay there until I actually dismiss it myself....

Did you ever figure out what the issue was?

It might just be the phone going through it priorities and killing tasks as its needing the RAM. I've noticed that if I have Pandora playing and I get a phone call, Pandora pauses but if I'm talking for a while then hang up, the app was closed out and I have to restart it again.

You could try this. Open Calendar - settings - general - default event duration - tap on the duration (60 minutes by default) and change it.
