Why does a strange image with a white letter P show up in my photo gallery after I delete a picture?

When I delete a picture in my photo gallery on my S6, a new image with a black background and a small white letter P shows up. I have a screen shot if that would help. It is so annoying. I hope it is not a virus. Please help.

Welcome to Android Central! Which gallery--the stock Gallery app, or the Google Photos app? Are these photos that you took with the camera, or other images that were downloaded from somewhere?

We hit the same issue on my wife's phone. GOOG gallery seems to be scanning com.pandora folder for images and including it in the library. We tracked the image down to this Pandora folder and the problem went away after un-installing Pandora and deleting the folder.

I am having the same issue with my LG G4. The picture appeared in my gallery. It created a new folder named com.Pandora...
I deleted it and uninstalled Pandora but I'd like to know how to get rid of it permanently.
