Why does it sound like Pandora is drowning on my android with headphones

When I am walking and using data, it doesn't sound good - almost like a water tunnel.

Welcome to Android Central! Is it only Pandora that sounds that way? What about other apps like YouTube or Google Play Music?

Try going to Settings>Apps, select Pandora, and Clear Cache/Clear Data, then Force Stop. Now open it again and log back in. Does it still sound like that?

Have you gone into the settings in Pandora and changed the audio quality?
