Why does my Galaxy S7 edge glitch out and go black, but only in my basement?

It does this nowhere else in my entire house. Only in the basement, it goes black and reverts whatever app I was using back to that certain app's homepage. No other devices seem to do this. I have filed warranty and got a new phone, and the replacement has the same issue. Any help?

Welcome to Android Central! Can you explain that a bit more in detail? So if you're using Facebook, for example -- the screen will go black, and then it'll go back to the your main feed, as if you were restarting the app again? Is there anything that's creating a strong RF field in your basement?

Also, was your house built on top of an ancient Indian burial ground?:p

I like where the theory of an RF or magnetic field is going with this. The burial ground, not so much. LOL!!!!

Is it in a specific room or spot (including different rooms but only in proximity of a specific shared wall), or throughout the basement?

Do you have any equipment that is starting or stopping at or near the time(s) it happens?

Is this just in a specific application / set of applications or all applications?

How often does it happen?

Start "Game Mode" for an app and try locking out the BACK button when running that app and see if the problem goes away.

It happens about 3 times every minute. It usually glitches twice, and then stops for a little bit. And it doesn't happen when I'm on the basement stairs, it only happens when I am actually under the basement roof
