Why does my phone make a noise when I unlock it of the “screen lock sounds” is turned off?

It is not the normal lock and unlock sound, and I can’t figure out how to turn it off, it started a few days ago.

Welcome to Android Central! Which phone? Do you also notice an unusual lockscreen as well? Some apps sneak in their own lockscreen "feature," usually chock full of ads as well. Try booting the phone into Safe Mode and see if it still happens.

Are there ads on your lockscreen?

What device do you have?

Is it every time you unlock or could it be a notification that alerts you that you missed one while the device was locked?

Are you using a non-native launcher?

What have you tried, where have you looked at or for settings?
