My samsung galaxy S4 turns on when i put the battery in then turns off after 5 seconds.

When i put the battery in automatically turns on and after showing the Samsung logo the screen goes black. I tried the safe mode and everything but nothing.

Plug the charger in. (Make sure the charging light is on.) Wait 24 hours. See if that helps.

Replace the charger and/or charging cable!

I tried it but nothing . Now it doesnt works at all, just black screen differently from yesterday when it showed samsung logo and vibrated.

Same problem, tried messing with he power button. Nothing. Can anyone help? Really need the phone, and I can't afford a technician.

If the battery is not charging and a new charger and/or cable does not charge it overnight, it has to be the phone or the battery. Find some else with an S4 and try their battery! Nest step is to have phone replaced or repaired.

If a battery gets too discharged it takes a while for it to recharge. I think they start out in a very slow charge until they reach a certain voltage before they switch to a normal charging speed! Good luck!

Try using a friend's S4 battery. If you can't get one, try a local phone store to see if your battery is dead. If your battery isn't dead, your power button is broken. To fix it, you need to open up the phone and clean the button, or if that doesn't work, you have to rip the button off (like I did). You can either leave it off or buy a new button on ebay (~$6) and solder it on. Good luck!

The only way to get it fixed is changing the motherboard.!
