Samsung Galaxy S5 mini pattern 30 sec wait time

Hi Android Forum!

I have an Samsung Galaxy S5 mini which has an annoying security issue.

When entering an pattern to unlock the phone, and you accidentally enter it wrong, you have to wait 30 second each try.

I've searched through the manual and online, but I can't seem to find a way to disable or extend this feature to 3 try's.

Can anyone help me out with this annoying issue ?

Welcome to Android Central! I don't think you can change it, unless perhaps you root it and really tinker with the system. It's a security measure, so I wouldn't try too hard to change it.
