Why does the app revert to the "primary" player when mobile sleeps or blanks screen?

Recently (I don't think it always was that way) if I'm listening to music in my secondary listening area (Touch), when the mobile screen blanks or is blanked (sleeps), and I activate to go back to SqueezeCntrl, the player I was using is no longer displayed as active, but rather has reverted back to my primary player (Transporter). In order to get back to the Touch and what is still playing, I have to select that player and then go to My Music, etc.

This is annoying. How can I fix it?

Go to settings, applications, find the music app you want to use and select it as the default.
