First, I posted all my screen shots...not one bit of help other than the routine checks. These issues seem to be rooted deeper than the average tinkerer can figure out.
Second, if I pay for a product I expect it to work...especially an expensive flagship phone. There is a problem with Android and people are starting to get frustrated, why can we not come on here and vent? I'm glad your phone is working great...mine's not, in fact I'm praying for the boot loop issue to hit me. I use this phone mostly for my business...I don't give a hoot about social media time wasting apps and have none of it loaded onto my phone. If my phone doesn't work properly it affects my business.
Third, if enough people bring these issues to light then maybe they get noticed and a resolution is implemented. If you think people are going to sit around an not state any issues then you're wrong.
Fourth, people posting issues helps to determine trends, trends lead to analysis and solutions. The battery, wifi, and multiple gremlins are all trending...to me that denotes a pattern that can be isolated and worked on.
Last, it Nexus made a phone that wasn't a monstrosity I'd be all in. As it is I have my eyes on the S7 based on size as a signifcant factor. Maybe Nexus comes out with a smaller phone someday...I'll be all in, but I'm not holding my breath.
Then there's the dark side which I have no desire to jump to, but Google/manufactureres/carriers are pushing it IMO.
Hmm, all Nexus phones are a monstrosity? I guess the Nexus 5X isn't a real device?
I bet I could solve your battery drain issues via PM with specific screenshots being provided. But I don't believe you really want the help. You go to every thread about MM that you can find and all you post is how much you hate MM, that Android is trash, etc. That's not wanting help.
I never said people couldn't vent, I just said that's all people do. Do you think posting on here carries any weight? Why not vent to LG on Twitter, E-mail, their support pages, etc. Why not vent straight to Google? Why not vent straight to your carrier?
Its unfortunate that you are having issues on your business phone. If it's your livelihood why would you even risk it? There's a reason a lot of companies don't switch to the newest version of Windows right away and it isn't all about money.

Disaster? Really? Why? Because on an internet forum there are people complaining about stuff not working correctly?
I have 3 G4's on my account, all running MM, all getting the same battery life as lollipop. None of them are on the internet complaining. Why? Because there's nothing wrong. When T-Mobile drops MM for my V10, I'll update as soon as I get notified. I'm not worried about it.
So much complaining about to many hands in the cookie jar... Google, manufacturers, carriers. Well if you want the pure Android experience, get a Nexus, where only Google touches it. Situation solved.
There are countless threads about this topic all over the G4 forum that need to be merged. Why? Because nobody wants help diagnosing what is running rogue, they just want to post and complain.
Apparently you're outnumbered. More people on this forum report issues than not. It was rather entertaining however reading the anger and perturbed tone of your reply

Quite frankly other people having issues with their phone doesn't effect my life one bit. All 5 phones on my account run great and that's all that matters.
This could have been my exact reply.
As far as nexus goes... I tried the nexus 6p. Great phone. Ran like a dream. Couldn't stand felling like I had a brick in my pocket. Thats my whole point about the Chromebooks. I can grab a Chromebook from any manufacturer and it runs exactly the same as all the others. Why can't I get the nexus software experience on my G4? How did chrome OS get it so right while Android got it so very wrong.
Outnumbered on an internet forum because my phones work perfectly? Shocking. You mean the internet is a place where people complain? OMG. I can't believe it.
I'm glad you were entertained but I was neither angry or perturbed during that post. Quite frankly other people having issues with their phone doesn't effect my life one bit. All 5 phones on my account run great and that's all that matters.
I'd argue that your 5 phones working being all that matters is wrong, rather, the Android user, on all carriers, should have a flawless OS.
Tremendous money is invested before releasing an update. Engineers don't come cheaply. Nor do high-end phones and plans. The MOE or "six Sigma" success should, in theory, be a 99.9997% success rate. That's Toyota logic and Lean Six Sigma logic as well.

This is where we differ, I'd like this update to work well for all people, it indicates a well thought out and tested system that make switching carriers/manufacturers/phones seamless...but it's not.
Having it work for all people is a statistical impossibility. iOS doesn't work for all people. Windows doesn't work for all people.

Interesting since my house full of Apple devices have been pretty much flawless for all the years I've been a customer. Now I know nothing is perfect, but this ain't even close.

When I was in corporate I worked for a manufacturer that produced jet engines, I agree and yes...you can get it perfect if you want. I can't recall a plane incident that ever happened as a result of failure of one of their engines.
Hence why I didn't say 100%.

Probably why I didn't quote you on that reply.
