Why don't I have anymore sound when I have a bluetooth connections?

No more sound after bluetooth connection

Hi there,

Hope you're doing great!

I've been having a major issue with my 2,5 years old Nexus 5. I've been using bluetooth more regulary at the office to play music on our speakers, but ever since I started with that I've been having trouble with my phone speakers.

Basically they just don't work. Very rarely sound comes out after 'playing' with the volume buttons (going from high to low etc etc). But 85% of the time they're not working, and when they do, it's only for a brief moment of time. I've tried a lot:

- disabling bluetooth
- forgetting the previous bluetooth network
- trying to play sounds in factory mode
- and even full factory reset!

But I just can't get the speakers to work... any ideas please?
