Battery drain, lag, won't factory reset or remove device admins HTC One m7

I recently have been having some weird problems with my HTC One M7. My battery has been draining a heck of a lot faster than it used to. It has also been lagging quite a bit. Sometimes extremely.

For example. One day it drained 40% in one hour. As I am typing this, it has drained 6% in like 3 mins. That's insane.

For an example of lag, it has been registering short presses as long ones, or taking a long time to pop up the lock screen, or open the app drawer. Some times a few seconds.

I recently installed the newest sense update, and installed tasker from aptoide, but then deleted it.

When I tried to factory reset it, it does nothing. Same for removing device admins. ( I was trying to uninstall ac display)

Any help would be extremely appreciated! Thanks in advance!!!

I have not. What is that and what does it do?

It is also overheating like crazy with normal use.

I have completely same issue with my m7, i tried also wiping the cache partition from the Recovery Menu, but it's the same. For the 1st few minutes everything is fine, but this morning i tried to unlock my phone, and its still slow. I need to wait like 30 seconds for respond. And also there is overheating issue, battery draining issue, also he restarts himself over a time, so when i take him from my pocket, i see a dialog where i need to type my PIN code -.-
Everything was fine till last Thursday i think, and i didn't download anything in last 2 weeks, what happen with my phone?

The cache partition stores temporary system data, normally not accessible by the user. Sometimes, bits of bad data get stuck there and cause various odd issues. Clearing the cache partition might help, and doesn't erase any personal data. It doesn't hurt to try.

OK. May give it a try. But since since it didn't work for htc m7 user, i'm kind of unsure. Are there any risks?

No risks, which is why I said it doesn't hurt to try--just make sure you don't select Wipe Data/Factory Reset (but don't worry, if you do by accident, it will ask you to confirm a couple of times). But you're right, if it didn't work for him, it probably won't do much for you.

Google Now , and voice detection for 'Ok Google' have been the cause of battery drain and over heating issues on my M7.

I cleared the cache, and it seems to be running smoother, but the battery is still draining power fast. Should I just do a factory reset now? I wish I didn't have to, but if that's what It takes, I guess I'll do it. I am really tired of it doing this.
