Battery drain
Recently I found that my battery is draining faster than usual. The reason seems to be Media Services. I read that it is usually a corrupt image. I tried an app to locate corrupt images but it didn't report anything. I thought back & remembered I had been sent some images on Whatsapp from an iphone. I backed them up, deleted them, and the problem went away. Then last week I had the problem return. This time I had received an image via MMS from an iphone. I deleted and the problem went away. I can't find this as a known problem. I have samsung galaxy s5 with Android 4.4.2.
