Why is my charger heating while charging?

Charger heating

My moto g 2014 charger is getting heat while charging. using original charger which came along with the mobile. is there any problem with that, however my mobile is not getting heat while charging.

Could be, it depends on how hot it's getting. All energy conversion has losses, and the losses are always heat. (It's how this universe works.)

If it's warm to the touch it's normal. If the plastic is starting to melt, or you get burned touching it, it's not.
