Why is my Galaxy Tab S 10.1 constantly freezing?

galaxy tab s 10.1 constantly freezing

Tab s 10.1 is constantly freezing in intermittent time intervals while scrolling, typing, searching etc. Also just all around glitchy with typing. have to turn the screen off and on to unfreeze it. Happens roughly every 30 secs-1 min

Welcome to Android Central! Try booting into Safe Mode, which temporarily disables all 3rd party apps. Restart the Device in Safe Mode Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 | Verizon Wireless
If the problem disappears in Safe Mode, then something you installed is causing the problem. You may have to uninstall apps one by one until the problem disappears. If the problem persists in Safe Mode, then it's more likely to be a hardware or firmware problem.
