Why is my Lg Optimus L70 giving me a message that I am low on space?

My Lg Optimus L70 keeps giving me a message I am low on space please help

I have an SD card installed and moved all the apps it will allow but still get the message. I delete all my texts, voicemails etc. What else can I do to fix this? Please help me before I throw this phone out the window lol

Welcome to Android Central! The SD card is primarily for media storage. When you move apps to the SD, you're only moving a portion of the app (and often only a small portion at that). Your phone has 4 GB of total internal storage, of which about 3 GB is probably taken up by the OS, so you probably only have about 1 GB of usable internal storage. That can get used up quickly, even if you move as many apps to the SD as possible.
