AC Question

Hi
I am an average cell hone user, so I dont usually push my phone to the limits.
With this average usage I can feel my s8 plus heating up to the extent that I can feel it quite well in its center back and on its sides and according to cpuz and some other third party apps (That I usually uninstall after knowing the battery temp) the battery temperature reaches to 34.6 and sometimes 35 degrees Celsius while the CPU is a bit higher at 38+ but less than 40.
Is any one else experiencing something like that

Settings: Resolution FHD and brightness at 50 percent, autosync on, switching between wifi and mobile data (most of the heating up occurs when on mobile data).
Yesterday I got 4 and half hours of on screen time when the day before that I got 7 and a half.

P.S Cell standby (Time without signal) is a whooping 68%

Welcome to Android Central! It sounds like you're in an area with poor cell signal, which can cause the phone to work harder to maintain the signal. This usually leads to the phone heating up as well. Is this happening at home?

@B. Diddy I dont use the phone that much at home but when I do it hits the lower scale of the 30s with a maximum of around 32 degrees. Yes I have read about the issue of poor cell signal but the thing is I never have a bad signal my mobile data is always on the 4G+ and the cell reception is showing full bars

@I got 6 hrs of on screen time, mixing wifi with mobile data and the maximum temperature was 33 I have to say its a lot better. Gsam battery showed me 10% on phone radio consumption is that fine?.

6 hrs of SOT is excellent, and 10% Phone Radio battery consumption sounds normal. If the battery does worse, the first thing to check again will be your cell signal strength.
