Why is my wifi slow on one phone and not the other

[Android Central Question]

I have a note 9 and a s9+ when I am at work the wifi seems to run fine on s9+ bug on my note 9 it will run quickly for about 2 to 3 seconds upon connecting and then run so slowly it takes 10 minutes to load an image.

Because it works fine momentarily it kind of leads me to believe that it was some kind of system setting so I check both phones to look for differences and there are none.

Is the work WiFi open to other people devices , maybe slowing down others ?
How is it on home WiFi?

Check with IT to make sure that the router at work isn't using TKIP or TKIP+AES. Some Samsungs don't handle TKIP very well.
