Why my LG G6 rings with no incoming call? Is it randomly ringing or am I missing calls?

It's not often but occasionally I hear the phone ring and pick it up but nothing is happening. Even when I open the phone app there's zip there. Anyone else experienced this, or if not, have an idea as to what is happening or how to resolve the issue? It's not a huge problem, but I do want to make sure I'm not missing phone calls.

Welcome to Android Central! When it rings, is there actually an incoming call screen or notification? When you say there's nothing in the phone app, do you mean in the Call History?
