Mine came in the mail today... But I'm charging it as per directions, 12 hours prior to first use.. I'm just glad I can charge it all by itself.

Man it is a huge brick. Don't know why but I've had 3 previous Zerolemon cases and each time the size still shocks me haha

But would love not to worry about the battery and turning down the brightness all the time

I'm with everyone when they say this thing is unwieldy and ugly, but like everyone has said I'm getting this for the comfort of never having to worry about battery life again, while keeping every setting and push notification turned on with full screen brightness. Going to give it a couple weeks before making the decision to keep it on time or just on a need basis.

Yeah someone posted a smaller battery case by Newdery on Amazon but just checked and it's not currently available

I'm in the same boat as you. I'll try it out and hopefully I can use it all the time, but I'm worried it'll be only when I'm traveling...

Please keep us updated on what kind of battery life you're getting with the case. I'm guess you can prob charge it 1.5x fully, give or take

Based on my calculator math, we should be able to charge it 2.42 times, but obviously with energy loss in charging I'm going to expect at least 2 full charges.

Wow two full charges would be amazing. I ask because I've tried their 10k battery case for the iphone before and I only got about 1.5x full charges which was disappointing given the size. Why I returned it

One thing i noticed it does, and all battery cases may do this, but when charging the case/phone combo, it charges the phone first (that's normal), then the case second, but when the case is charging, the phone is no longer charging. So my phone actually dropped a few percentage points while the case charged. Once the case was charged, then it started charging the phone again. It makes sense, just was interesting to see it work. Leaving it plugged in most of the day today to ensure the battery is fully charged. Will begin a full battery drain test starting tomorrow.

No doubt. I don't think it's them having bad batteries or lying, just think the energy loss is pretty substantial with these things.

I worked my phone down to 60% today so I can plop the button on to see it charge.. it's charging decently fast. got 30% in about 30-45 minutes.. that's not bad especially if it's just chilling in your pocket.

That is pretty fast charging. I think it say 1.5A input and output.

You "worked" your phone down to 60% lol sounds like it's hard work to do that. For me I don't even have to try. I blink and it's already 72% right now haha

I think you're right. Most battery cases charges phone first then case when plugged in.

Well mine is coming tomorrow. Can't wait. (Again I reordered another one with faster shipping lol)

I'm liking this case the more I use it... I'm trying to get through the 6 charging cycles but I'm still on my first initial charge... Might have to charge it up tomorrow night.

Glad you like it. I just received my case and my goodness it's heavy. It's definitely an adjustment. I don't mind the extra length but it's the weight.

I'll charge it overnight for 12 hours. And start my real test tomorrow.
