Why is there no love on the site for Nexus S 4G? I would understand if the phone was older or plain crap. But this is not the case.I hardly ever see any blogs on the Nexus S 4G at all.Its always the same group of phones.Evo 4g(old phone)Evo 3D,Thunderbolt,or a damn Droid.Just makes me wonder.

Marketing?
Writing for the largest audience?
There really wasn't much to write about between the release of the 4G and the original Nexus S line?
Who cares?
Would it work better for you if it was written about more?

Would really like something brought to the table for us sometimes. Not asking for a bible or anything.Just give the Nexus S 4g owners something to relate to instead of reading about everybody else phones all the time that's all

Its okay. I kinda like having the dark horse phone that spanks just about everything else out there. 3d owners get pissy when an "obsolete single core" phone is just as fast or faster and puts up great benchmark scores

I'm glad that nobody knows about this phone. It's such an awesome phone. It's got a curved screen, super amoled, stock android and NOBODY I KNOW HAS IT!!!!

Let everyone have their EVO 3G's and their other boopity doo dahs

Not alot to talk about. When you get the phone, there's pretty much nothing on it. You make of it as you will. This is a good thing!

I think it's because it's missing some of the bigger "star" features that people rave about today: 1GB RAM, dual core CPU, LTE (yes, WiMAX doesn't impress anyone), Gorilla Glass, HD recording/HDMI-out...

Despite it's faults, I love my Nexus... so there is plenty of love there.

I would also argue that it's because Sprint isn't pushing it. It was never *really* featured on their site, and in stores, I can't them to talk about it. If I go in and say, "what do you think of the Nexus S" (which I have done three times now), the responses I have recieved are.

1. The Evo 4G is coming out soon (asked about a month ago)
2. Check out the Evo 4G (two weeks ago)
3. Check out the Evo 4G, or the Photon which is coming out (today)

Clearly there is not corporate initiative to sell it, which I'm guessing is based on:

1. No Sprint bloatware to tempt people into getting Sprint TV upgrades, etc.
2. Free tethering

But going back to the original question, because Sprint is not pushing it, not many people are getting it, which means that people aren't writing about it.

I think it may be because it really is sort of a second hand phone. T Mo had it initially and we just got the same phone but with WiMax.

I think the next Nexus phone will likely be on Sprint considering the relationship Google and Sprint seem to have now and it will get pushed much more.

I'm surprised you were able to get them to say anything to you. Sprint store employees have been useless, uninformed and reluctant to even come over and talk about any phones in my experience. Best Buy on the other hand, has been amazing. They all seem to actually be people who love mobile tech and they all read engadget, gizmodo, the android forums, etc. They don't know everything but they generally enjoy talking about it and are very helpful (and that's EVERY Best Buy I've been to)

(this is only about Best Buy Mobile people, no idea about the other dept's)

At the Sprint Store near me, they're incredibly helpful. They even told me about the Nexus S 4G. He suggested it to me rather than any other phone, so it's obvious that they at least know what people are looking for and know the phones that they have here.

Same here, when I went in with my wife to upgrade her phone a couple of months ago the guy came over and knew about all the phones and helped to get her what suited her best (the Epic as she wanted a keyboard). When I went in a couple of days ago to get this phone, they didn't try to talk me into a Evo 4G or 3D. He knew about the Nexus, I talked to him about rooting and different ROMS and also about the upcoming phones.

I'm sure at every store you have the guys that care about their products and those that don't. I know if I go to my local Best Buy, they just try to push the most expensive phone into my hands.
