Why pay $200 for 512GB internal?

It's too bad the 512 GB option is not available in Grey in the US.

A couple of people claimed they pre reserved gray ones in 512 but I think that was an error. Nothing is really pre reserved anyway. It's just a way of filling out the actual order.

I guess I can always wait until a grey 512 GB Ultra becomes available. Maybe even a price drop at the same time.

I'm not convinced that option exists in the US.

Anything's possible but I don't want to wait to find out. As much as I would prefer gray it wont kill me to get black. My Aura Blue Note 10+ is currently in a black case

I can't understand why the ultra would even have an option for 128gb. 256 should have been the base option on a $1400 phone.

Absolutely agree. The Note 10+ has 256gb base. Why not offer that for the S20 line?

I would only get the 512GB, if I knew I was going to keep the phone for a long time. Like 2 years. But if you keep on trading in the previous model Galaxy for the next Galaxy. Samsung does not give you more money for having the 512GB version. Thats why this time, I will be just getting the 128GB and put a 256GB MicroSD in there.

Right now I think the SD slot is an afterthought and if they’d have upgraded it I think they would have said.

I was dead set on the 512 version, but your logic makes sense. I'm most likely gonna give my s20 to my son and get the note 20. Then I'll use what little will power I have to hold out till the next note.

The 4GB of extra ram > then the extra storage since it has expandable storage anyway. You can't add extra ram to the phone. Well worth the extra 200 bones.
