Why there is fake information about the available free storage in settings app?

Hi. I deleted all of my internal storage, dache, dalvik cache and deleted apps.
But my device just won't free up space.
I'm running android 5.1 lollipop, without the adaptive storage option. It would be nice to have adaptive storage on lollipop.
I have 64 gb SD card inserted.
32 gb internal storage.
Rooted, xposed installed.
I'll be happy for answers.

Welcome to Android Central! I don't have rooting experience, but I can say that it'd be helpful to know which device you have, and what kind of storage numbers are being reported. Internal storage is partitioned - you only get access to the userdata partition, which with some manufacturers is pretty small. But if the phone says it has 32GB internal storage, the sum of all the partitions probably is 32GB. (That doesn't mean that you can install 32GB of apps, or store 8 full-length movies.)
