Why was my phone awake the last 24hrs?

I'm really good at closing apps before I turn the screen off and the phone was still awake. It's not normally like this. While the battery was in the red, I was asleep and the phone was doing nothing. Any ideas? Battery life was still doing pretty good though.

Neither do I, though I do have more questions for androidpiper:
Do you normally leave Wi-Fi running, even at night? Have you consider'd going into Airplane Mode while you sleep?

I find the red area of Sprint's signal interesting, especially how the battery level drop lessen'd during that period, after having drop'd steeply just before (and 2 more times after).


I'm beginning to suspect Chrome (the browser) for my GT-I9190's steepest battery level drops. Do you use Chrome?

I do use chrome. It is lte but I have it flashed to page plus and only get 3g. The signal is also very week at my house. I usually have WiFi on all the time. I might try airplane mode. And I also found the signal colors very weird. It can be black when I'm in a great signal area. It sends very inaccurate

I restarted my phone and began to charge it and that seems to have helped, and I didn't see this before but the amazon app (forgot I had it) was at 21% when the android system was at only 16 of something. So I uninstalled it. It could have been the culprit
