Why won't my Gear 2 Neo connect to my Note 4?

Gear 2 Neo won't connect to Note 4

I have tried everything to connect my brand new Gear 2 Neo to my Note 4. I have reset the Neo, uninstalled the Samsung Gear Manager several times, paired and unpaired the Gear, all with no luck. My phone will link to the watch via blue tooth but Gear Manager won't connect to Gear. The app perpetually says "Connecting to Gear..." but never does. Any suggestions on how to resolve this issue would be helpful. Respectfully.

i can get mine to connect after resetting both devices but it won't stay connected. Seems to be a recent fault as it was working perfectly up until 2 weeks ago. if you go to the bluetooth on the note 4 it shows the gear and will connect momentarily that way but only for a few minutes at most.

I bought a gear 2 neo last Friday. So far it seems to be connecting OK.
