Why won't Samsung release their new devices with their flexible display??

I am thinking flexible displays will wrap the wrist in luxury. Why else would apple rush on a watch? What a reactive looser tax evading un American company. Shame on you apple and supporters.

I'm going out on a limb here, but i think the flexible display is to help reduce shock displacement from drops...

Yea, I like to think that! It would be great to have a phone without a shattered glass from a small drop.
I like your thinking, you might be on to something.

That's only their tablets. Samsung's tablets suck IMO. They do, however, have a history of keeping high-end hardware with their phones (S4: case in point) so I highly doubt the Note 3 having anything less than 1080p.

Actually, we have both the Note 10.1 and the iPad 3 in my house, and the Note 10.1 definitely does not suck, despite the on-paper display spec disparity.

Yeah, except for that. Note 10.1 is pretty good (especially with S Pen) but the Galaxy Tab 3?

Yeah, well, the Tabs are definitely a budget line. Anyway, re: Samsungs tabs v. phones -- you are right that the tabs suck in comparison to the phones as far as camera quality goes. The Note 10.1 is pretty shabby for pics and video, while my Note 2 and (especially) my wife's S4 are terrific. But I try and avoid using tabs for taking pics and videos.
