Why does turning on WIFI override 3G data services? This is ******ed. Should work hand in hand, not opposing. I have to keep my wi-fi off all the time. Anyone heard of this?

To assist each other. My BB had WIFI on 24/7 and when the signal dropped alittle the WIFI backed it up. What's the purpose of WIFI then if not to back up your signal?

I agree.. In the day of high priced data plans from the carriers, the preference of many is to have your wifi be the primary source of data, when it is connected. I've had this phone since it was released, and it's handled the stitch from 3G to wifi, and back, without any issues.

Never had any issues with WiFi and 3G simultaneously, in the sense that I definitely would prefer WiFi to take precedence over 3G. Not because I'm concerned about how much data I'm using, but WiFi is much, much faster for me.
