WiFi hotspot disables my 3g/4g

Hello everyone,

New user here but long time forum reader.

I have an Huawei Mate 8 and I'm having the issue below and hope someone can help shed some light on this.

When WiFI Hotspot is activated the 3G/4G doesn't work - Chrome would say "you are offline - your device is offline."

Any insight on how to fix this issue is greatly appreciated.

Thank You

Eddie

Re: WiFi hotspot disables my 3g/4g

Sorry I should clarify:

What I mean is when I enable WiFi Hotspot/Tethering on my device, anyone connected to enabled hotspot provided by my device will have full internet access.

(i.e. I turn on Wifi hotspot and my friend will connected to my phone's hotspot and he will have full internet access with no issues. However, when the hotspot is enabled on my device I cannot access the internet on the device itself)

This started a few days ago; I was able to enable WIFI Hotspot on my phone and use Chrome on my device simultaneously. But now I can only do one or the other.

I hope this helps with describing the issue I'm having.

Thank You

I've tried everything, wiped the cache, wiped the whole phone even on TWRP and reflashed a new ROM on it :(

I also thought it might be a Carrier issue, so I plugged my sim into my old OnePlus Two and the wifi hotspot worked fine whereby both the person accessing my wifi and my phone works
