wifi issue

here's the situation. my incredible 2 connects to my network and gets about 65mbps. my wife just bought a rhyme today and it connects to the network (excellent connection), but only gets 11mbps. Although it does connect, no web pages will open. We'll try a different network tomorrow to see if it's that. I called HTC and the guy said it's most likely the router. He said the Rhyme has a Dual band on it where the INC2 is just regular.

side note: when I disconnected all devices from the router the rhyme connected still at 11mbps but the web worked etc.

If anyone has any ideas I'd greatly appreciate it!
