WiFi password “invalid.” Tab 8a

[Android Central Question]

Samsung Tab A 8 no longer connects to my two different WiFi networks. No problem with any other devices.

It tells me the passwords are invalid. I have confirmed that I am entering the passwords correctly.

It stopped connecting to the first one when I changed the name of that router. Every other device connected seamlessly.

Today while trying to resolve that issue I accidentally hit the “forget this network “ button on the other network.I tried reconnecting but now that password is invalid. BTW, I am on that network while typing this on my iPhone.

My Google search for a solution didn’t help.

Is there anything I can do other than a total reset?

Can you check if this a issue on other wifi besides your home wifi?

I tried every option that I could from that thread. I don't have all those settings on my tablet.I still can't connect to the one network.

Try resetting the network settings: https://www.hardreset.info/devices/samsung/samsung-galaxy-tab-a-2017-80-wifi/reset-network-settings/

If that doesn't help, then try wiping the cache partition: https://www.t-mobile.com/support/de...-80/wipe-cache-partition-samsung-galaxy-tab-a
