I am not sure why this is but on average my battery is anywhere from 50% - 70% of total battery use it is really killing my overall battery life. Any ideas on what can be causing this my tablet is only 1 week old.
Any help would be awesome, thanks in advance!

Are you saying that even if you turn off the WiFi, it's not going off? I usually leave mine on and I haven't had any problems with the battery yet. Do you have the screen on the brightest setting? That uses a lot of battery power. And then there are power saving options too, but I have not changed anything on mine yet. But I've only had it for a couple of days.

It goes of when switched off and i have the settings to when device goes to stand by it disables WiFi also. Seems like the wifi adapters in these tablets is not very power efficient

Maybe an problem with your tablet. I've had mine on with WiFi and over three hours and batter is still at almost 80%.

when you go to you Battery usage, what % has your wifi consumed of your battery??
