IIRC, the GN came with a charger rated at 500mA.

will charging the GN with 2-Amp charges kill the phone?
(like the chargers that came with my tablets) If so, is it
covered by Samsung's original warranty, Verizon,
or Asurion TEC?

Thank you for any info! :)

I can't speak for everyone, but in my experience so far, I've been using my nexus 7 charger for speedier charges and also use a 2amp car charger for when I'm using in car features. I haven't noticed a difference in my battery life. I've had my gnex ~6 months now, I've been using the 2amp car charger since day one and the nexus 7 charger for 2months. I try not to leave the phone past full charge on the 2amp supply. Only if its low and I anticipate excessive use.

Nope. The hardware is limited on how much current it can draw. Most Samsungs are limited to 960mA.
