Usually with the Note line they do lolWaiting may be a good thing. They really can take their time and get this phone right?

Who knows. With the bad bad jobs report and economy I can really see them scrapping the Note this year, possibly even release the Note next spring with the S whatever they call it. If the economy stinks that bad would it be worth production cost if no one buys it?

I don't think they would release both s series and the note series at the same time or a few weeks apart. my views are basically still the same as my other post in this thread. they could delay it but maybe by a month. I am willing to bet they are looking at the sales figures of other phones being released as a guide before deciding what to do.
Biggest thing I would buy this year.
Is a new note for my wife..if she dont want it.
There is no need for me to get it.
She's worried about her job and health insurance.
If businesses don't open back up.
And people don't want money picked up.
She worries.

Cause I want to buy her a Christmas present in like Oct.
And a new note would be faster and have on concrete scratches on it.
If it was her.
She is a tight ***.
She would never get new phone, till it breaks.
She has no internet at the condo where she stayed during the week to keep from driving 88 miles one way a week.
All my medical stuff is her phone
Will have to wait till Oct. See if you can go in Best Buy and look at the phones.
Buying a unlockef phone on the internet..and going there and picking it up. Just ain't going to work for me .
I want to look, hold and play with it 1st.
Its my money.
And I spend it how I want to spend it.

Why not release the Note like late Nov for Christmas sales? I always wondered why released in late August the last few years. Summer is the worst time for retail and back to school shopping in August parents are buying clothing and computers.
Just makes sense IMO release it in late Nov. People might be inclined to spend more too around then.
I myself have the money I could buy S20 Ultra right now or anything but being real here. If sales are very bad this august and into the fall for the Note I don't want that to give Samsung any ideas to nix the line. Rumors the last 2 years about eventually nixing it. Don't want to give the higher powers any ideas to do that.
Why not release the S line and have the Note line at the same time as the biggest screen high end model? The reason I think that is not the case is because of die hards like us who will buy the top end S line and then 5 months later will spend more $$ and get the Note!

If they make 3 models like they did with the S20 there should be 3 different sizes and features.
