Most likely not. I have not seen VZW mention anywhere that it would be a World Phone, which is Verizon Speak for a regular GSM compatible radio in addition to the CDMA/LTE.

The answer would actually be it depends. Verizon will eventually enable it but who know when.

Where are you going to? If it is Puerto Rico or Mexico, they have Verizon or Claro.
