Will my new EVO do this: orange blink for new mail, green for new text msg?

I am a bit confused... on the EVO you cant change the color of the main LED to whatever you want for each type of notification?

On both my Droid and Droid X i have colors set up for each type of notification... even different color LED for different email addresses.

Sorry if this is a dumb question but these are the only 2 android devices i have used.

holmes, just download it and try. it still vibrates, makes noise and you can disable the left led light.

yes it still does, there are other setting to disable that

Too bad there is no blue indicator light to blink when connected to Bluetooth. I always to seem to have a connectivity issue with my BT speakerphone at least once per week. It would be nice for my Evo flash a blue light so I know there is an active BT connection without having to tap the power button to check the BT icon status.

I used to have it working with Handcent but this will be cool if they will update it to work with gmail... So I will try it and keep cheking for updates.. Thanks

Protip for everyone: use Dropbox! It's free up to 2 GB. This way, you can download the file to your computer and drag it to your Dropbox folder. Then open the Dropbox app on yer phone and download the file from there! I just think it might be easier than attaching the app to an email, emailing yourself, then trying to search for the file on your phone to install it. Just sayin'.

The TEST setting will flash for however long you decide (5 seconds, 10 seconds, etc) simply to show you that the light works--as a TEST. it should not keep flashing after the amount of time that you specified.

after you close out of the app, it won't flash UNTIL you get an SMS/MMS

It's for wimax not 4g. Anyway mine worked. There are green,red,and Orange that you can choose with various blinking rate. It only glow with sms now for me. Thx
